Send, View and Manage Messages
Messaging on Inflancer allows users to communicate with each other privately. Here's how to send, view, and manage messages effectively:
1. Sending Messages
a. Sending Direct Messages (DMs)
- Tap the Message Icon: To send a direct message to another user, tap the message icon on their profile or within a post.
- Compose Your Message: Enter your message in the text field and tap "Send" to deliver it to the recipient.
b. Starting Group Chats
- Create a New Group: To start a group chat, tap the message icon, select "New Group," and add the participants. You can then send messages to multiple users simultaneously.
2. Viewing Messages
a. Inbox
- Access Your Inbox: Tap the message icon in the navigation bar to access your inbox.
- View Conversations: Your inbox displays a list of conversations with other users. Tap on a conversation to view the messages exchanged.
b. Message Notifications
- Notifications: You'll receive notifications for new messages. Tap on the notification to directly access the conversation.
3. Managing Messages
a. Deleting Messages
- Delete Individual Messages: Within a conversation, tap and hold a message to reveal options. Select "Delete" to remove the message.
- Clearing Conversations: In the conversation view, tap the options menu and select "Clear Conversation" to delete all messages in the conversation.
b. Blocking Users
- Block Unwanted Users: If you receive messages from unwanted users, you can block them. Tap on the user's profile, select "Block," and confirm the action.
c. Muting Conversations
- Mute Notifications: If a conversation becomes too active, you can mute notifications. Tap on the conversation, select "Mute," and choose the desired duration.
4. Privacy and Security
- Private Communication: Messages on Inflancer are private between users. Avoid sharing sensitive information and report any suspicious behavior.
- Reporting Violations: If you encounter inappropriate messages or behavior, use the reporting feature to notify Inflancer's support team.
